The Ballroom (accommodating 180 guests) is the largest of the Castle’s four rooms licensed for civil ceremonies, the others comfortably accommodate 30, 60 and 70 guests. To hire a room for your ceremony (and we also make the Inner Courtyard of the Castle available for your private use during the two hours that we set aside for you) you will need to allow a budget of between £750.00 and £1100.00. Should you decide to extend your programme and stay with us for the wedding breakfast and evening reception, room hire charges for the day will be about £3000.00. We have our own in-house caterers that offer extensive menus priced around £45.00 for the Wedding Breakfast, wines from four continents and a regular team to look after you on your special day. Overnight accommodation for your guests may well be available on the estate at Bader Hall and in the Castle itself there is a large apartment for the bride and groom. There are occasions when a marquee can be used for your wedding breakfast and evening Reception, it gets positioned on the lawns immediately in front of the Castle.
